As well as his training in the North of England Ramsay has travelled widely to centres of excellence in order to gain further experience and work with leaders in the field. This allows him to offer the best possible treatments to his patients. These vistis and fellowships have taken him to France, Switzerland, Scotland and both Sydney and Adelaide in Australia.
He has received multiple awards throughout his time in orthopaedics including prestigious fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons, the British Orthopaedic Association and The British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
In addition to treating patients Ramsay is also a surgical trainer and mentor, working to train the next generation of surgeons. He is also the Audit and Governance lead for Orthopaedics at South Tees NHS Foundation Trust.
Away from work he enjoys a busy family life spending time with his wife Clare and three young Children Eloise, Leo and Fleur.
