Mr Refaie completed his undergraduate medical training, postgraduate orthopaedic training and PhD training in the UK before further specialist foot and ankle training at centres of excellence in Scotland and Australia. He has received awards from The British Orthopaedic association and British Orthopaedic Foot and ankle Society and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
I understand that every patient is unique, and no two foot or ankle conditions are exactly the same. I take a personalised approach to assess your specific needs and develop a tailored treatment plan for you. This may involve both non-operative and operative treatments. My aim is always to get you better in the least invasive way possible.
I employ tried and tested techniques that I have learnt from leaders in the field and developed in my own practice both at James Cook University Hospital and in the independent sector.
